Head-to-Head Song Comparisons

Purpose of Head-to-Head Song Comparisons: Allows you to view two separate tracks by spins, broken down by format overview and individual station spin comparisons. No need to manually calculate comparison reports - Mediabase automatically does this for you!

 
To Get to Head-To-Head Song Comparisons:

 

To Create a Head-To-Head Song Comparison:

Select Song #1: This should be your primary emphasis track and will be listed as Song 1.

- Enter Title (type song title in bar) or Artist (type artist/band name in bar) and hit GO.
- Select Show All Songs, Currents/Recurrents or Gold.
- Click on Artist or Title under Matching Titles to move song to Selected Songs on the right. This will be listed as Song 1.

Select Song #2: This should be your secondary comparison track and will be listed as Song 2. Use same process as above to make your selection.
 

To View Head-To-Head Song Comparison Report:

Click View 7-Day Comparison or View Building Comparison under Selected Songs (right side) - only visible after both songs have been selected.

Comparison report will list overall Format Summary (page 1) followed by comparisons broken down by individual stations. Order of stations sorted by most Spin Differentials between Primary Song (Song #1) and Secondary Song (Song #2), regardless of format.

By clicking on an individual format under Format Summary, only stations within that format will be displayed. Click "Show All Formats" (upper right side) to return all formats to display.

Easy to read red arrow points in the direction of spin leader.

Play Differential number (difference in spins between the two tracks) automatically calculated (displayed between the two tracks)

 
To Compare Two Different Tracks:
Click Compare Different Songs (upper right side) – returns to Head-To-Head Song Comparisons main page
